Visual Paradox (Hemingway? Is that you?)

This is my attempt in designing a double image illusion by using animals to form the features of a human face (Ernest Hemingway?)

I began by modeling an object that served as my "universal mammal," one for which all other animals would be derived from (except for the bird and fish forms).

 

After creating each animal figure, they were manipulated in such a way to serve as building blocks for certain facial features.

The resulting double image can only be seen from one ideal perspective. If giving more time, I would like to try to make the illusion viewable from all angles. The following is the final render.
